Are crochet hat patterns an old-fashioned idea?
My daughter told me that crochet hat patterns were nothing but an old-fashioned idea in a conversation recently. I told her that I was not that old-fashioned, that crocheting was still in style. In an effort to prove my point, I went in search of modern crochet hat patterns. To my daughter’s surprise, I was able to find quite a few. Of course, there are still patterns out there that are timeless, like for babies and young children. But there are also numerous patterns available that were fit even for teenagers. In fact, the floppy hat style is very popular nowadays and I found many patterns for those. A lot of the celebrities are into the floppy hat look. I have seen Julia Roberts quite a few times wearing them, and who wouldn’t want to look like Julia Roberts? So, at the end of the day, my daughter reluctantly agreed that I wasn’t so old-fashioned after all. And guess what, adores my floppy hat patterns!
