How to Open a Second Chance Checking Account

If you have bad credit and you’ve been denied a checking and savings account, your not the only one. Many American citizens have bad credit and have been placed in a list of non chexsystmes banks. Traditional banks that provide checking and savings accounts will not approve any applicants that have an outstanding balance or anybody who has been placed in chexsystems.

A second chance checking account is the only option for somebody with bad credit to find a bank that will guarantee approval. Second chance banking services are FDIC insured and specifically designed for people that cannot obtain approval from their local bank for the financial services they seek.

A person that is approved for a second chance checking account must maintain that account for a minimum of five years before they can apply with their local bank. By the time they reapply, they should have cleaned up their credit and removed any outstanding debts that were on their previous accounts.
